The Premier Gathering of Chemical Scientists in the Philippines First held in 1984, the Philippine Chemistry Congress (PCC) is the largest annual gathering of chemists, chemical engineers, educators, and researchers in the Philippines. Organized under the auspices of the Philippine Federation of Chemistry Societies (PFCS), the 41st PCC (2027) is spearheaded by its main organizer, the Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas (KKP). In a historic milestone for the national scientific community, the 41st PCC will be held in tandem with two major international gatherings: the Asian Conference on Coordination Chemistry (ACCC) and the International Conference on Chemistry (ICC).
PCC provides an interdisciplinary platform addressing vital tracks across the chemical sciences, featuring key focal areas including:
• Nanoscience and Nanotechnology: Nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, nano-biotechnology, and functional nanodevices.
• Materials Science: Advanced polymers, smart materials, energy storage/conversion systems, biomaterials, and solid-state chemistry.
• Inorganic Chemistry & Related Disciplines: Coordination complexes, main group chemistry, organometallics, bioinorganic systems, molecular catalysis, and solid-state inorganic materials.
• Chemical Education: Pedagogy innovations, digital/AI-integrated learning tools, laboratory safety curricula, curriculum modernization, and green chemistry integration in education.
Designed to foster professional growth, the congress offers accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units for registered chemists, chemical technicians, and science educators—ensuring delegates advance both their scientific knowledge and regulatory practice credentials.
